STATEMENT ON ELECTRICITY RATE HIKE AND EFFECTS IT WILL HAVE IN WYOMING

Casper, Wyoming - Reid Rasner for United States Senate has issued the following statement regarding the proposed electricity rate hikes and their effects in Wyoming:

"The current administration, in conjunction with our currently elected officials, are crippling our very way of life in Wyoming and America. Consumers are feeling its effects in full force as we see increases in prices for food, fuel, & housing. The attempts to replace Wyoming's clean and reliable energy with unreliable green energy will leave Wyoming in the Dark Ages; cold and hungry. John Barrasso's energy plan to incorporate 'a little bit of everything' approach will bankrupt Wyoming and have massive effects across all of America. We are already realizing the effects of Barrasso's weak leadership; as energy prices are expected to increase as China prepares to dominate Wyoming in Trona mining.

Wyoming deserves a strong voice. Someone who will champion Wyoming and our interests nationally and globally. For the past two decades, John Barrasso has placed Wyoming firmly behind, and in his famously known position, one step behind and two steps to the left of, Mitch McConnell.

I have solutions to the problems John Barrasso has created and in the coming months I will present my first draft bill to secure energy independence for America titled the America First Energy Independence Act."
